Brennen and I are beyond excited to share our fantastic news: we are having a baby boy!
Today, we are 19 weeks and 4 days along (due on September 5). Our little boy looks happy and healthy - he weights 10 ounces and measures 12 cm long. As of right now, he is positioned breach in my tummy, and unless his placenta moves, I may need to have a c-section (as of right now, I have a placenta previa, where his placenta is implanted too close to the cervix to delivery safely). Our doctor says that we will get another ultrasound after 30 weeks to see if anything has changed (which I am very much hoping for).
I am excited to start planning the nursery, and to pick out a name. We both can't wait to meet our little guy in about 5 months :-)
