C-Section - Scheduled

We had quite an eventful Sunday morning yesterday. I started contracting and cramping again, and the doctors were concerned about the possibility of me bleeding so they ran my IV and moved me to Labor and Delivery where I was close to the OR as a precautionary measure. Thankfully, they were able to get my contractions under control and I did not bleed yesterday. 

In any other pregnant woman, contractions around 35-36 weeks is completely normal and not concerning, but with the Vasa Previa and Placenta Previa, an active uterus can cause a serious bleed and it is just too risky to wait much longer. Since I've had 3 separate contracting/cramping episodes in the past week now, our doctor recommended moving the C-section to tomorrow afternoon @ 3:30pm.

As much as we are looking forward to meeting our son tomorrow afternoon, I am nervous about the C-section surgery itself, and I would appreciate it if y'all could keep our family's safety in your prayers tomorrow.
